How We Work Through Every Service

We assess the piece thoroughly before discussing any work, so the conversation is based on what's actually there.

We share our findings, outline the options, and invite questions. The owner decides what happens next.

3. Work Carefully

Only what was agreed gets done. If something changes during the work, we stop and contact the owner.

4. Confirm Before Return

We check timing, finish, and function before returning the piece, and share what was done and what was found.

Service 01

Maintenance & Regulation

A gentle maintenance service that keeps a working watch in good order. We clean key parts, renew lubrication, and regulate the rate for steady running. Recommended periodically to help avoid larger repairs later, and well suited to owners who wear their watch often and prefer thoughtful, ongoing care.

Process

  1. 1Drop the watch off; we assess and discuss condition with you
  2. 2Movement removed, disassembled, cleaned ultrasonically and by hand
  3. 3Parts inspected; worn components noted and discussed if replacement needed
  4. 4Reassembly with fresh lubricants, rate tested on timing machine
  5. 5Ready in approximately 1–2 weeks; you're notified when done

Case & Bracelet Refinish

We discuss the desired finish first so the result suits the owner's taste, and protect dials and crystals throughout. A good choice for a watch that runs well but could look tidier.

Full Heirloom Restoration

The work can include making replacement parts by hand, treating wear and corrosion, conserving aged dials, and rebuilding the watch to run dependably while honouring its past. Each restoration begins with an honest, unhurried assessment and a written plan.

Our Standards

Timing Machine Verification

All serviced movements are measured on an electronic timing machine across multiple positions before the watch is returned.

Owner Discretion

We do not photograph or publicise client watches without explicit permission. Every piece is handled as a private matter.

Conservation First

For any aged piece, our instinct is to preserve rather than replace. We only change original components when there is no reasonable alternative.

Service Warranty

All maintenance services are backed by a warranty on the work performed. Returns related to the service are addressed without additional charge.

Documentation

We share written condition notes on the work carried out. For restorations, a complete record accompanies the returned piece.

Stop-and-Ask Policy

If anything unexpected arises during work, we stop, contact the owner, and discuss the options before proceeding. No unilateral decisions.
