Section 1
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They help websites remember information about your visit — such as your language preference or whether you have accepted a cookie notice — so your next visit is a little smoother.
Cookies do not run programmes or carry viruses. They are simply small records kept by your browser. You remain in control of them and can delete or block them at any time through your browser settings.
Section 2
Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookie. Only essential cookies are strictly necessary; the rest are optional and you can choose whether to accept them.
Essential Cookies
Always ActiveThese cookies allow the website to function correctly. They include our cookie consent record, basic session data, and security tokens. They cannot be disabled.
Examples: cookieConsent (localStorage) · Duration: Until cleared
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited most, how long people stay, and where they come from. The information is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid) · Duration: Up to 2 years
Marketing Cookies
These cookies may be set by advertising partners to show relevant content elsewhere on the web. They track your visits across sites to build a picture of your interests. We use these sparingly.
Examples: Google Ads, Meta Pixel · Duration: Up to 90 days
Preference Cookies
These remember choices you make — such as your region or display settings — so you do not need to re-enter them each time you visit.
Examples: Language, region settings · Duration: Up to 1 year

Section 3
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this site are set by third-party services we use, including:
- Google Analytics — website usage statistics (analytics)
- Google Maps — our workshop location embed on the homepage (essential for that feature)
- Google Ads — where we run advertising (marketing, optional)
Each of these services has its own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review independently.
Section 4
Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two broad types based on how long they remain on your device:
- Session cookies — removed automatically when you close your browser. They hold temporary information needed during your visit.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. The duration varies by cookie and is noted in Section 2 above.
